TL; DR
- Google Fi offers a seven-day trial of its service via an eSIM.
- This allows you to quickly sign up and use the trial instead of waiting for a physical SIM card.
GoogleFi is one of the best networks for prepaid users and frequent travelers. The MVNO is now trying to publicize its offering through a new eSIM-based seven-day trial program.
New seven-day trial of Google Fi (h/t: 9to5Google) uses an eSIM, giving you unlimited calls and texts for the duration of the program. You also get up to 10GB of high-speed data during this time, with speeds limited if you exceed this threshold. You also get a few other features like hotspot support, unwanted call blocking and Google One VPN access.
Either way, the eSIM nature of this trial means you can enjoy it in no time, as you don’t have to wait for a physical SIM card. Plus, you can still use your current number and chosen network with the service and trial number.
It’s worth noting that you’ll be automatically signed up for the Simply Unlimited plan for $50 per month once the trial period ends. So you’ll want to turn off auto-renewal or cancel the trial to avoid these charges. Still interested? Then you can tap the button below to sign up for Google Fi seven-day trial.
