Winners and ratings with Bray Wyatt out again

WWE Raw announces Omos and Brock Lesnar head-to-head heading into their WrestleMania matchup, much to the chagrin of the monolithic internet wrestling community.

Although several SmackDown stars have appeared on Raw, such as LA Knight and Rey Mysterio, Raw did not feature Bray Wyatt, who continues to be conspicuously absent. Wyatt did not appear at a live event in Madison Square Garden on Sunday night despite publicity, and his WrestleMania status is suddenly in doubt. Wyatt’s continued absence is believed to be due to a physical problem.

Neither Wyatt nor Lashley have been featured on Raw.

Raw also announced Cody Rhodes against LA Knight and the team of Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis against The Judgment Day.

Last week’s broadcast of WWE Raw averaged 1.87 million viewers.

WWE Raw Winners and Ratings

Judgment Day def. Gargano and Lumis

Edge kicked off the show by challenging Finn Balor to a Hell in a Cell match. It won’t be the main event either, but God have mercy on whoever has to follow this.

Judgment Day proved Edge as early as last week as Johnny Gargano had no business beating them. And he didn’t.

Judgment Day against Gargano and Lumis Grade: B

Brock Lesnar and Omos come face to face

Neither man is a Caucasian gymnast under six feet tall, so this match doesn’t have the backing of Internet Wrestling Monolith, but watching Omos and Lesnar go head-to-head felt like a WrestleMania match. I assure you that this game will be a live show in a good way.

It was the rare WrestleMania feud that featured physics as Brock Lesnar attempted to suplex Omos, but to no avail. Omos basically knocked Omos out of the ring before the segment ended.

Rating from Brock Lesnar and Omos: B+

Cody Rhodes beats. L.A. Knight

Although LA Knight’s win-loss record leaves something to be desired, it’s a good sign that WWE continues to put him in the ring with its biggest stars. He’s ready for a post-WrestleMania come-up.

After Cody Rhodes’ victory, Rhodes – who was massively overwhelmed – gave a great promo saying he wears a suit, not because he’s someone, but because he wants to be someone.

Cody Rhodes vs. LA Knight Grade: B+

Bronson Reed beats. elias

If Elias and Rick Boogs had any sense, they’d fabricate a feud just so they could have a WrestleMania match.

Kevin Patrick dropped the “I don’t get paid by the hour” line at the start of this game, which tells you what a squash this was destined to be.

Corey Graves doesn’t shout “tsunami!” better than Wade Barrett. Hell, Kevin Patrick gave him his money’s worth.

Backstage, Kevin Owens cut a very nice promo demanding that Cody Rhodes not help him in his match against Solo Sikoa.

Bronson Reed vs. Elias Grade: B-

Austin theory defeated. Angelo Dawkins

Theory had a backstage exchange with The Street Profits, who ridiculed Theory — unprovoked — about being buried by John Cena. Street Profits have established themselves as the heels of this segment.

The Street Profits will do their best to add as much credibility as possible to Austin Theory. After Cena’s promo last week, he’ll need every ounce.

The Street Profits feature on a surprising list of WrestleMania snubs that currently included Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss.

Backstage, Paul Heyman confirmed that Roman Reigns will return to WWE Raw next week to face Cody Rhodes.

Austin Theory vs. Angelo Dawkins Grade: B

Dominik Mysterio interrupts Rey Mysterio

I have a feeling WWE is going to be asking Rey Mysterio to deliver parts of his Hall of Fame speech over the next few weeks. Because he definitely won’t be able to deliver it when they run a Hall of Fame angle in April.

Dominik Mysterio has hilariously complained that Rey Mysterio gave him a BMW instead of a Mercedes. Although he fought off the “what” chants, this line received tremendous heat.

Dominik challenged Rey Mysterio for a match at WrestleMania, but staying true to his word, Mysterio refused. Fans booed when Mysterio said he wasn’t going to fight his own son.

Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio Grade: B-

Seth Rollins beats. Baron Corbin

Backstage, Baron Corbin was basically begging his peers to be on their WrestleMania schedules, and I couldn’t help but feel bad for the guy. Man can still have heat. His fall was really a self-inflicted injury by WWE trying to fix something that wasn’t even broken.

The end of this match was an impressive milestone as Seth Rollins jumped off Miz’s back.

Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin Grade: B

Bianca Belair defeated. Chelsea green

Carmella and Chelsea Green’s chemistry is almost instantaneous.

Similar to Carmella’s game against Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green got a surprising amount of offense and this game went through a commercial break.

Asuka spits out blue slime yet again as Belair and Asuka join the long list of feuds with limited physics.

Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green Grade: B-

solo score def. Kevin Owens

This crowd seemed weary from the main event, and as John Cena can testify, parts of Kevin Owens’ pop played out.

The first chant of this match was “we want tables!”

Fans surged when Sikoa went under the ring, but booed him when he revealed a chair. Always the babyface, Kevin Owens took out the table. Always the heel, Sikoa pushed it back under the ring.

Kevin Owens took a dirty bump on a row of chairs that sparked (censored) chants of “holy s—t!”

Sikoa led Owens backstage, where he was greeted by a double super kick from The Usos. The crowd gradually rushed into one, and they were booing loudly at the end of it.

Solo Sikoa vs. Kevin Owens Grade: B+
