The Oscar-winning stars of ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ enjoyed their big night for Hollywood’s most anticipated awards show. Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh, who won Best Supporting Actress and best actress at the 2023 Oscars, respectively, were seen supporting each other like never before during the show and were pictured hugging each other and the film’s wins. The multiverse film ultimately won seven Oscars in total. After their two individual wins, they were also photographed backstage before posing for photos with their trophies. The sweet pictures are the culmination of adorable BFF moments between Curtis and Yeoh throughout this awards season.
In ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once,’ which won Best Picture, Yeoh plays Evelyn, a woman whose quest to settle differences with the IRS (via Curtis’s Deidre) takes her through multiple universes and has her fighting for her life. their partner Ke Huy Quan also won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Waymond and Alpha Waymond in the film. All three were nominated for the first time.
The dynamic duo weren’t shy about loving each other, with Curtis even crediting Yeoh with his Oscar nomination. The actor said Variety in a February interview, “Michelle Yeoh is the reason why for the rest of my life you’ll say, ‘Oscar-nominated actress Jamie Lee Curtis.'” When Curtis won her award, she said it was for every cast member. and her team, and thanked Yeoh, Quan and her best supporting actress, Stephanie Hsu, who plays Joy. Yeoh also thanked her teammates and the team when she won.
Curtis attended the event with her husband, actor and director Christopher Guest. Yeoh brought his longtime partner, Jean Todt.
