Here’s some good news for anyone who isn’t crazy about spending $70 on a video game. The new 2023 remake of Dead Space is on sale for PS5 for $49.99. That’s $20 less than the standard retail price, and a lot easier pick-up for anyone who doesn’t want to drop big bucks on a remastered version of a (admittedly excellent) game they’ve already cheek. The Xbox Series X version is also on sale, but for $54.99 for some reasons.
Save up to $20 on Dead Space
Dead Space 2023 is a remake of the 2008 original released for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Like its predecessor, it’s a single-player survival horror game that puts you in the shoes of an engineer named Isaac Clarke. You unfortunately find yourself on an abandoned mining spaceship that has been overrun by violent (and terrifying!) beasts called Necromorphs.
Fortunately, you have access to a series of mining tools that act as weapons that do a good job of slicing through enemies limb by limb. You can also upgrade them with your armor to turn yourself into a powerful Necromorph killing machine. This is very fun.

This is the first discount we’ve seen on Dead Space so far, and it’s a pretty good one. I for one feel much better paying $50 or $55 for this remake than dropping $70 for it. It’s a superb remake in every way (including our 9/10 review), but the main story takes about 12 hours to beat, so this sale price seems more reasonable. If you haven’t picked it up yet, now is a good time to take a trip on the USG Ishimura. Don’t forget your plasma cutter.
