Idris Elba is back as John Luther in Netflix Luther: The Fallen Suna suite of feature films from the Luther series that ended in 2019 after five seasons. The film stars Cynthia Erivo as Luther’s boss and Andy Serkis as the serial killer he hunts down. On Paramount+, Peyton List (whom you might know better as Tory on Cobra Kai) plays Maddie, a dead high school student who must solve her own murder. And on Hulu, Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo co-star in Not imprisoneda family comedy-drama about a woman whose formerly incarcerated father comes to live with her.

It has been a few years since British detective series Luther packed, but luckily for us, Idris Elba is back to play the titular character, Detective Chief Inspector John Luther, for an epic new adventure. Luther, now disgraced and sitting behind bars, is still determined to solve one last case involving a dangerous serial killer. Will he be able to break out of prison to capture the killer, or will he dare to break out and become a fugitive himself?
school spirits, which released its first two episodes on Thursday, stars Peyton List as Maddie, a (former) high school student who travels the afterlife to investigate her own disappearance and murder. Not imprisoned stars Kerry Washington as a single mother named Paige who must adjust to a new normal after her father (played by Delroy Lindo) is released from prison and moves in with her. The new comedy-drama, which co-stars, is ultimately the story of a family trying to heal old wounds and honestly navigate a situation that many people face but isn’t often depicted on the screen. screen.
