Earlier this week, officers responded to a “shots fired” call in Anderson Township, Ohio. A teenager had to be hospitalized with minor injuries in connection with the shooting.
Several miners reportedly played a game called “nerf wars” near Joe Mixonwas at home when the shooting happened. A 16-year-old boy was reportedly shot as he fled.
Mixon’s sister, Shalonda Mixon, has now been named as a suspect along with a 34-year-old man named Lamonte Brewer.
“We understand there is a very specific interest in this story due to the nature of the home connected to Bengals player Joe Mixon,” the spokesperson said via TMZ Sports. “We cannot confirm any additional details outside of what is described in the incident report. Our investigation team continues to review the evidence and conduct interviews.
Bengals running back Joe Mixon has two attorneys representing him in a shooting related to his home in Anderson Township.
Officers at the scene recovered a Nerf gun, three shell casings and a rifle from the vehicle seen leaving the house. According to the incident report, the minor was taken to hospital where it was confirmed that he had been shot in the foot.
Mixon has not commented on this incident.
