Frieren’s Journey of Self-Reflection in the TV Anime Adaptation Written by Kanehito Yamada and Illustrated by Tsukasa Abe Freeze: Beyond the Journey’s End manga was announced today to debut this fall. Along with the announcement of the release period, the first trailer and a new visual were released alongside the reveal of Frieren’s voice actor and key staff members.

Keiichiro Saito, who made his directorial debut on BOCCHI THE ROCK!will lead the Freeze: Beyond the Journey’s End TV anime starring Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13 Territory Inspection Department.) writing series composition, Reiko Nagasawa (wake up fate) character design and music composed by Evan Call (Violet Evergarden). The animation will be produced at Madhouse.
The winner Freeze: Beyond the Journey’s End manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since April 28, 2020, with the tenth volume set to be released in Japan on March 16. Viz Media released the series in English, describing the first volume as such:
