It was a family affair for Courtney Cox And her daughter Coco Arquette at the premiere of “Scream 6” on March 6. The two were red carpet lookalikes, both wearing their hair in matching middle parts as they celebrated Cox’s role as the last original cast member to escape ghostface. Sticking to the theme, the actor wore an all-black outfit that included a chic mini dress, sheer tights and a velvet blazer. Her 18-year-old daughter, who Cox shares with her ex-husband David Arquettelooked just as stunning in a red midi dress with a dairy-style top and platform heels.
As they entered the premiere, the mother-daughter duo held hands and kissed for photos. While a rare sighting, it’s not the first event Arquette has witnessed with her mother. In fact, a few weeks earlier, Cox had taken his daughter to his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonywhere talked about what she learned from the teenager.
At the event, the “Friends” actor began by expressing his gratitude to his boyfriend, Johnny McDaid, “for teaching me how to be a better person.” Then she joked, “And thank you, Coco, for reminding me every day that I’m not,” while Arquette shouted her dissent from the audience. “Coco, that means I’m doing a bad job! You’re perfect,” Cox said with a laugh. “No, seriously, Coco, it’s not easy growing up in this business. And I just want you to know that you shine in your own unique light and I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you. I I’m proud to be your mom.”
Along with being a star on Hollywood Boulevard, Cox has now officially wrapped up his final appearance as Gale Weathers in the “Scream” franchise, though we hope it won’t be his last. As for Arquette, she is already an actress in her own right, and a talented singer too, cover display of artists like Demi Lovato and Adele on her Instagram.
