Avatar: The Way of Water Hits Digital Platforms This Month

Avatar: The Way of Water will be available for purchase at several major digital stores – including Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu and Movies Anywhere – starting March 28.

According Variety, the film’s digital release will be available in 4K Ultra HD quality with Dolby Atmos audio. It will come with a box of additional Pandora features, with over three hours of extra content to keep audiences entertained long after the credits roll.

Among the bonus content will be featurettes delving into the challenges the cast and crew faced during production, including details about new technologies used on set, insight into how the world of Pandora was built and the intricacies of its sound design. .

There’s been no announcement yet regarding the physical release or streaming rollout of the Avatar sequel, so that should follow at a much later date, though the film will almost certainly be added to Disney+ eventually. , but not for a while yet.

The digital release of The Way of Water has just ended three months after the film’s theatrical release. The sci-fi epic caused a stir on the big screen, reaching $1 billion at the global box office in 14 days and later surpassing Titanic to become third highest-grossing film of all time.
