A longtime NFL linebacker will seek a new team in free agency after losing his job.

According to reports, the Vikings eliminated Eric Kendricks, the first team All-Pro of 2019.

“A first-team All-Pro in 2019 and one of the most productive LBs in the NFL, Kendricks is now heading into free agency,” reported Tom Pelissero.

Among his accomplishments, Kendricks is a first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler during the 2019 season.

The 31-year-old has spent his entire eight-year career with the Vikings. Last season, Kendricks started every game and recorded 137 tackles, six shy of his career high.

He shouldn’t be a free agent for too long.
