Ciara went through some of our favorite style trends at Fashion Week, and his big tour is not over yet. On March 2, the “Jump” singer grabbed attention in an oversized cutout Celine sweater on the Paris Fashion Week red carpet. In a masterful nod to the “pantless” trend – which we spotted on the likes of Maya Hawk And Sydney Sweeney – Ciara layered the completely sheer piece over a set of black underwear. Her accessories included a pair of black, knee-length, notched-soled boots.
In a fashion era where less is definitely more (see: Rosalía’s see-through dress at the Billboard Women in Music Awards and Jessie J’s crystal pregnancy dress), Ciara’s look is perfect for Paris’ haute couture red carpets. Her boxy mohair sweater featured a cable knit pattern perforated with dozens of teardrop cutouts.
Carrying the piece off the shoulder, Ciara created an uneven hemline that reached mid-thigh, just above her leather boots. The sweater’s oversized sleeves also folded around her wrists, sharing a brief glimpse of her.”“rich girl” manicure. Through the fabric’s diagonal slits and waist-length waves, Ciara revealed a black bandeau top paired with high-waisted black underwear.
Last month, the “1, 2, Step” singer showed off her styling prowess in the hooded dress trend while attending the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective.
