LinkedIn has added new tools for job seekerswhich will help them get noticed by more recruiters, while allowing them to stay up to date with the latest job openings as they come into the app.
First, LinkedIn has added a new element to its Open-to-Work option, which signals to recruiters and profile visitors that you are open to job offers.
Now, when you enable Open-to-Work through your profile settings, LinkedIn’s system will also help you set up job alerts, so you can stay up to date with relevant job vacancies.
This will ensure that you’ll be among the first to know about the latest openings, while LinkedIn will also be adding a new option in the coming weeks that will allow you to register your interest in working for an organization from their company page.
LinkedIn further notes that enabling Open-to-Work, privately or publicly, doubles your chances of receiving messages from a recruiter, while members who add the Open-To-Work profile frame are 40% more likely to receive messages from recruiters.

On top of that, LinkedIn is also adding a new “Recruit in My Network” filter for job searches, which will show who among your first And secondary relations are recruiting at any time.

When you visit the On LinkedIn’s Jobs tab, you can easily see who’s hiring in your network — and your network’s network — so you can reach out to learn more about the opportunity or for a recommendation.
LinkedIn is also expanding its Skills Match Lists on Open Roles, which show how your listed skills match those of the job, while also soon allowing you to share your resume details with all recruiters in the app, to expand your opportunities.
“Once enabled, when recruiters search for specific skills, experience, education, or keywords that match your resume, you appear in their search, making it easier for recruiters to find and contact you.”
